Our Provider
Patient education means the most to me; when I educate my patients, it decreases their fears and puts the decision-making back in their hands.

LaKendra Walker, FNP-C
Nurse Walker chose to be a nurse practitioner because she enjoys the personal relationship between her and her patients. To her, every day is an opportunity to make a difference in the many lives she serves. Since 1993 she has worked in cardiovascular nursing, caring for patients with severe heart conditions.
In 2005, she signed on with Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga, to care for their Cardiac Cath patients. She has also worked for Arkansas Heart Hospital, VA Medical Center, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
